This category is defined as any surveillance to be conducted whether it is for Insurance Fraud, Liability Claims verification, Domestic Spousal Surveillance and non-report generated surveillance for any specific reason. Law Firms hiring our office to conduct surveillance are not required to pay an up front retainer for services to be rendered. Private cases require a retainer fee with a retainer contract. Each case will be evaluated for the retainer amount.
A retainer for services is paid up front before surveillance is conducted. The investigator will work the case and document evidence as it becomes apparent, and work hourly from the retainer fee collected. Once the retainer that is paid is exhausted, a new retainer will be required to continue work. All surveillance is documented by video, DSLR camera, or covert body cams for evidentiary purposes. This also includes hourly "integrity shots" on-site.
This category is the charge to conduct a bug sweep/ GPS Tracker locate for the first hour. This is the normal time it takes for the work.
The contract will outline the estimated time to complete the work so there are no "surprises." In the event more time will be needed, work will stop until further instruction. This is not a normal occurrence. Payment for services to be rendered will be required on-site before the work begins.
This includes all investigative and surveillance work that is not an appointed case through the WV Public Defender. Our standard hourly and mileage rate is billed against the collected retainer. Multiple count indictment cases will require a retainer fee of $2500.00 per count of the indictment.
Our local service area extends out from the center of Huntington (midtown office) to 20 miles out for local service. All other process service requests outside the local 20 miles are billed the standard $50.00 for service plus .65 cents per mile after 20 miles has been reached. We service the tri-state area.
